Accounts and Authentication

There are two separate accounts involved when using WebSync: the account you sign in with inside the extension, and the Google account used by NotebookLM.

Extension sign-in account

Some WebSync backend features require you to sign in with a Google account inside the extension. Only one extension sign-in account is supported at a time.

Notes:

• The sign-in popup may open on a different screen or behind other windows.

NotebookLM account

NotebookLM uses the Google account that is currently active in your browser. If you have multiple Google accounts, you can select which one NotebookLM should use.

Tips:

• If you see the wrong NotebookLM account, switch accounts in Google or open NotebookLM in the desired profile.
